Came here for a Sunday night date night - we had made a reservation on OpenTable but didn't need it as there were plenty of open tables. We chose to sit outside where the music was way quieter than inside; the heaters were plentiful and there was only a bit of a chill when someone opened the door. The food was all delicious - there's nothing I wouldn't eat again. We had: - Brussels sprouts - salmon tartare - burrata - ricotta croquettes - truffle mac & cheese - grilled octopus Along with the sangria, this was a delightful dinner!
Lilly's is a cool restaurant located in downtown White Plains. My co-workers and I shared two pizzas and were quite pleased with our pizzas! Highly recommend Bee Sting and Truffle! There is ample amount of indoor seating, but if there is nice weather the outdoor patio is a good option too! This is a great place for dates, hangout with friends, or meeting for work!
I absolutely enjoyed our Brunch at Lilly's. The decor and high-top booths were my favorite. The team was very accommodating. Even though we did not have reservations because of timing, we were able to take advantage of an availability that came up for our party. This came highly recommended by fellow Yelpers. We had such a full nice spread of deliciousness. Everything we had was great! For starters, we had the Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese, Brussels Sprouts, Truffle Pizza, and the Corned Beef Hash. The Fried Chicken was seasoned and flavored well. A solid dish that was not overdone but perfectly done. Although the shell Mac and Cheese was not the typical style, it was still tasty comfort food. I requested the Brussels sprouts to be without Caesar dressing, which were roasted to perfection, and the crispy flakiness tasted delicious. Finally, the Truffle Pizza was a solid pizza and great sharable. The stand out was the Corned Beef Hash. What was surprising was they did not have Hot Chocolate. But overall it was a yummy brunch experience.
A staple of White Plains. My favorite place to go to when I am not sure what to eat with my husband. So many different bar food options. Our favorite is the brussel sprouts for an app and the bee sting pizza for an entree. Drinks are also very good here. Durning the summer months there is outside seating and a nightlife after 10 if that is your vibe. Definitely try them for either dinner, brunch or a night out.
Friendly greeter! Wonderful service! Delicious desserts! Great ambiance! Go & enjoy!
brunch spot in white plains. service is kind of slow, but then again they get super busy on the weekends so reservations recommended. I love how they have specials for the complimentary mimosas as well! the pizza was delectable but very rich... we had leftovers with only 2-3 pizzas for our party of 6-7 people. it's dark and moody inside but super bright in the tent outside whichh IMO didn't really match the vibe but oh well. the brightness was good for brunch (but it is next to a parking lot so FYI).
What a lovely brunch spot! My boyfriend took me on a surprise date here and even with no reservations, we were still able to be seated pretty quickly. If you want to sit outside, you would have to make a reservation as it seems to be a very popular spot. Since it was brunch, the items we got actually came with a complimentary mimosa! We wanted to try a lot of different things and here's everything we got: 1. The Benny Pizza: I had really wanted their smoked salmon pizza but unfortunately it was not available. This pizza however was basically a pizza version of an eggs benedict which was really interesting. I loved the creaminess of the eggs and the texture of the crust. It wasn't too thick nor was it too soft that it tasted soggy. Although next time, I may not order this if it is just me and one person because it was a large portion. 2. Tuna Tartare: Not much to say other than it was a delicious appetizer and it tasted really fresh. It came with tortilla chips as well and honestly, I wish it had more herbs on it instead of avocados. I think the fresh herbs made it brighter. 3. Chicken & Waffles: Fun fact, if you ask for hot sauce, they will give you a mini bottle of Tabasco which I thought was really cute! This dish was alright to me, I thought that it tasted a bit average and maybe the chicken was a bit underwhelming. 4. French Toast Napoleon: Prepare yourselves because this is a tall order of French Toast! By this point, I was already pretty full even though we were sharing everything and I sort of wished I hadn't ordered so much. I did however enjoy all components of this dish and I definitely would have finished it if I hadn't ordered the pizza. 5. Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake: We have never had this before but always heard about it because of Gordon Ramsay, so we decided that today would be the day for us to try! I thought it had some fun layers but I feel like the middle was a bit dry. It seemed like it should've been soaked so that all the flavors would be equally distributed throughout the cake. Nonetheless, it was a decent cake. The décor in the restaurant was nice and vintage but I don't really think the music playing really made sense with the theme. The music was more pop which was fine but just something I had noticed. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomach, however, now I am even more excited to come back and try some of the other menu items, specifically their creative brunch pizzas!
My in-laws invited us out for dinner and chose Lillys. They have good reviews and the in-laws guaranteed we would like it. There are two entrances. Both have parking, all are metered. There is inside and outside dining. We ate outside on the patio under the tent. Very good service. Really nice decor and good vibes. The food is very very good. Lots of choices, definitely a different type of menu. I enjoyed the ricotta croquettes. They put a little bit of honey at the bottom. I also had the Margherita Pizza and the Carne Asada. Carne Asada is not the typical pizza topping. It was a little spicy because of the jalapeño, but very good. I would definitely come back to Lillys when in White Plains.
